This is a collection of Posters and logo I created for a local non-profit, Slow Food Central Iowa. The posters are meant to promote the annual Slow Food Dinner that features a multi course meal from volunteer local chefs. In addition to promoting the event the posters are for sale at the event as well as being gifted to the chefs as a thank you for donating their time and talent.
The logo is meant to mimic the international Slow Food Icon which is a snail. I incorporated some Iowan icons of the central region of the state. Starting at the head of the snail is first Ames then Des Moines and finally Knoxville Iowa.
The posters are meant to be informational to promote the event but also fine art as to be able to be sold at the event to raise money and be displayed proudly by the chefs who they are gifted.
